Tim is a keen paddler and competes regularly in the ocean racing scene. In 2017, Tim was selected for a second time to represent Australia in the World Championships for his age group. Tim has a particular interest in growing the participation in paddle sports, across all disciplines. As a previous national sailing champion and competitive road cyclist, Tim brings experiences as a participant in a variety of sporting membership organisations.
Tim works as a lawyer and is currently General Counsel and Company Secretary for Komatsu Mining Corp. In that role he manages Komatsu’s legal and regulatory compliance matters across Australasia, and serves on their executive management team. Tim’s qualifications include a masters (BCL) degree from Oxford University and membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Tim commenced as an Interested Director on the Board of Queensland Canoeing in October 2017.
