This year’s “Coomera Cup” looks to be bigger and better than ever. With the support of our naming rights sponsors, The Gold Coast City Marina, the Coomera Cup will again be part of the Marina’s multi million dollar Boat Expo from May 21st – 24th 2015. This will ensure 10’s of thousands of spectators and a massive amount of exposure for the events sponsors.
The general course will remain the same but we are looking to move the finish to with in the marina itself. In 2011, this was the most popular Qld event with more ski paddlers than any other event. Something we would like to get back to. The event will again have the most expensive buoy turn in the world of paddling, a $2 million dollar yacht.
Special mention to the following for their behind the senses support: Queensland Canoeing, Mermaid Beach SLSC and Norton Smith Partners
We are proud to announce several new sponsors which will lift our prize pool to over $5,000 this year.
